Wow. What a finish. I can't believe the Mets didn't make it, at all. After falling behind 7-1 in the first inning, and then 8-1, they never picked back up. In fact, the rest of the game was scoreless for both teams. Wow. And it was the Glavinator. *shakes head in disappointment* After being 7 games ahead only 17 games before the end of the season, they just fell apart, completely fell apart.
But I am definitely happy for the Phillies. First since 1993. Congrats.
And then look at the NL West... Arizona lost to the Rockies, which would've given the Padres a shot at the division if they'd won, but even they lost, 11-6 against the Brewers. EEESH! Everyone is falling apart! Everyone, but the Rockies that is. Today, the Padres and the Rockies will go head to head for their final game to decide who will take the wildcard.
But two games off before the Angels take Boston at Fenway. I'm not sure what time it will start, but you can bet I'll do my best to be in front of a TV when it begins. I can't miss this. And I'm kinda really hoping we'll at least split the series in Fenway, so we can at least get to game four ha!
So I will be back when it all begins. Until then,
AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
