I know I'm a little late here, but yeah. We won. And of course, I had to play a stupid concert, so I missed the end of it. But I heard it was good, with K-Rod getting the 1-2-3, and Willits getting dunked in a nice cool ice bath...
But is it just me, or do they need to refocus? They lost game one of the series in Texas, and their just about to lose game two. We're not hitting, aside from the occasional home run here and there. Unlike the Angels to do that. It's like, either they get a bunch of hits and score a bunch of runs, or they do very little offensively. Very all or nothing kind of team. I wish they'd stop doing that, ha!
I don't think I've seen another team do that, go very all or nothing that way. It's almost as strange as Seattle's streaky-ness. You know, when they win a whole bunch of games in a row, and then lose a whole bunch of games in a row.
It's really starting to concern me though. I know we're trying to rest players up for the post-season and everything, but you should be trying to get some momentum going. Sure, we clinched. But come on. That home field advantage thing should be somewhat important. Though in theory, Scioscia takes it a game at a time and tries not to worry about the long run, so really, momentum shouldn't make much difference.
But please, win some games, ok?
I should be celebrating right now. Why do I feel so negative?
Oh yeah, I was celebrating what, 3 days ago? Guess that's what happens when I get so caught up in all must stupid school stuff. Boo.
And I'm not giving it up: I still don't like Kendrick.
