THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE UGLY

The Good:

- Angels won again today 2-1, sweeping the Devil Rays at home
- Santana pitched 6.1 innings, and threw 10 strikeouts while only walking two
- K-Rod got his 37th save, and didn't give up a run (struck out two)
- Juan Rivera hit his second one out of the park, which will most likely give him more consideration for the post-season roster
- The magic number in the ALWest right now is 3.
- Boston, Cleveland, and the Angels are all tied at 90-82 on the season for the best records in baseball, as of this moment (Boston is currently playing Toronto, outcome later...)
- The Phillies are only a game and a half behind the currently slumping Mets
- The Brewers and Cubs are currently tied for the lead in the AL Central
- The Yankees are giving Boston a run for their money, only 2.5 games back... and also currently playing Baltimore right now...
- I just won the Angels post-season ticket lottery, and will hopefully have seats at game two of the ALDS. I'm so excited, like WHOA!

The Bad:

- The Indians have been playing good ball, meaning, if the Angels want home field, they better be ready to take out the Mariners in this next home series.
- Bad for the Mets, they're slumping big time. They better watch out, especially since Philadelphia is on a winning streak.
- If the season ended today, the Angels would take on Boston in the first round. Good thing is, it doesn't end today *whew*
- Lots of injuries going around the league. Which is going to be an interesting factor in how post-season rosters pan out...
- The Angels have too much depth. Who will make the cut? Only the next few games will tell...

The Ugly:

- Barry Bonds had some words for the buyer of ball 756. In fact, he called him stupid.
- But you know, I have to agree. What an idiot. This guy bought the ball and now has a poll going around about what he should do with it: 1. sell it to the hall of fame, 2. keep it and put and asterisk on it, or 3. launch it into space.
- Come on, you know that's just stupid. To all the real baseball fans out there, that is just an insult to the sport period. I don't care whether you like Bonds or not. That's a slap in the face to baseball, when a piece of the sport's freaking HISTORY is treated so.... idiotically. Tsk Tsk. If I seriously met this idiot, I'd punch him in the eye.
