I'VE GOT ONE WORD FOR THIS SERIES:

zZzZz...

Huh? Oh!

totally-boring-and-I'm-glad-it's-finally-over-and-we're-moving-on-to-something-that-has-more-potential-to-entertain-me-as-it-goes

It is totally one word. STFU. letitgo!

I'm not going to say shit about the pitching. I'm sick of hearing about the pitching. You wanna hear about the pitching? Go watch baseball tonight. That's all they'll be talking about this series. No more pitching.

Matthews hit another out. Yay. K-Rod was finally in a game. Yay. I love watching him fly off the mound; the guy is a maniac. And the glasses, I'm glad their back, they make him look so ridiculously menacing. They didn't get the sweep. YAY.

This is good. Very good.

Seattle doesn't play today. Oh darn. Puts the Angels up by another game. Not to mention, the possibility of going up some more, with tomorrow's double-header.

Tomorrow's double-header. I'm not going to lie. I'm nervous as hell. I don't care, I'll say it. Santana back... is anyone else worried about that one??? I mean, of all times to bring him back... in BOSTON. ON THE ROAD. Little ironic, says I. AND he'll be pitching to Budde, who's played, oh, not much. I'll be scared.

Hopefully the games in Boston will be more interesting than these games in Toronto. I don't know what it is about being in Toronto, but I want out. Why is there only one interesting inning of any of the games here??? The first, or the last??? Maybe this double-header will actually give me something to say that is actually interesting to read... ha! I may even have to post twice!

In Other News:

Kendrick may be back within the next series. I'm still interested in how that's going to fly. I still Don't think he's necessary. So in reality, I don't really care if he's coming back or not.

BUT! Juan Rivera played a helluva game at Rancho Cucamonga, and has been moved up to Salt Lake! If you aren't excited about that... man. I don't even know what to say to you.

And for some reason, still no Napoli. He needs to come back. Not that Mathis is doing a bad job, because he certainly is not doing that. But it's Napoli. I like the guy. I want him back.

Okay, I'm done. I really don't know what more to say, because these games have seriously been zZzZz...

  1. Haha. Yeah, I love K-Rod's glasses as well. I think he looks better and he certainly does look very intimidating with them on. Without them his face looks like....a bat-chimp hybrid or something. Not that I mean any disrespect to the man. He is an outstanding pitcher.

And yeah, I am nervous as hell about this series as well. The Angels already lost the first game. They outplayed the Red Sox in innings 2 through 9 but they still lost just because of that 6-run first inning they put together via Lackey's meltdown on the mound. He is normally able to get out of a jam without much damage being done but I guess you can't do it all the time. IMO they should have pitched Santana the first game and Lackey the second game. That way you would have Santana going against the no-name guy that the Sox started so he would actually have a better chance at picking up the "w" and you would have the Angels ace Big John versus the Sox ace Josh Beckett. I know that Santana sucks in day games and road games and he would be pitching under both conditions if they started him first but come on......I really think starting Santana against Beckett is the dumbest thing the Angels can possibly do right now. I know Santana has potential but he hasn't shown any of it this year and unfortunately, I do not have any faith in the guy. I really like Joe Saunders though. I think that Saunders should permanently replace Santana and that we use Santana as trade bait. Other teams have shown a lot of interest in him and I think he would be the key to helping us acquire a power hitter.

But who knows....maybe Santana can beat Beckett. I really don't think he can, but I hope I am wrong. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
